not sure exactly on chance of miscarriage but usually its something that goes wrong while the baby is developing and that cant be avoided. theres foods/activities you should avoid you can find loads of information online. its probably best to look there as theres so much to know things will get missed on here. congratulations.

Juss follow the food pyramid eatin' your veggies, fruits, grains, and meats and stay/eat healthy and take your prenatal daily. Miscarriages Is something that has happened during the development of the embryo that didn't function correctly while trying to develop, It's not completely the women's fault. After you hit your second trimester, hearing the heartbeat, It decreases significantly. I scheduled for a Dr's appt. right when I found out, but they didn't take me In until I was 10 weeks. Stop drinkin' alcohol and smokin' If you are and avoid a large amounts of caffeine and mercury.

You should make a doctor appointment for as soon as they'll see you. And I think it's like 15% of all pregnancies end in miscarriage but I could be wrong. But just start taking prenatal vitamins And wait til your appointment where they will probably confirm your pregnancy and get medical history from you and just go over what to expect. And Ask any questions you have.
