6 weeks and doctor wont see me

Im 22 and a ftm. I went to the community center in my town to get tested, since i was a week+ late. I got a positive!! She asked me a few questions then told me my due date was october 25th.  So that means im around 6+ weeks and dont even feel a thing. Kinda nervous Because the my OB wont see me untill im 10 weeks. Was wondering it this was normal? I feel like so much could happen between now and then, and so far ive had to get all of my information on the internet and web blogs. Currantly i am taking prenatal vitamans and eating as healthy as possible, i guess other than what im already doing i just sit and wait?

My doc wouldn't see me till I got an ultrasound to confirm it and see how far along I was. I was already 11+5 weeks along

Wow I've never heard of that.  They wanted to see me as soon as they found out I was pregnant.

I'm 6 weeks and 4 days. My due date is Oct 25 :) I saw the doc at 4 weeks and 3 days I even got a lil pic of the baby. I go back on the 19th of this month. I think its all up to the doc. 8 to 10 is normal

My midwife usually doesn't take patients until they are at LEAST eight to ten weeks. The only reason I got in sooner was because I already had an appointment scheduled. We just had to change it from a birth control prescription to an anti nausea medication haha.

Yeah 10 weeks is definitely normal. I went for my first one at that time. Then at 11 weeks had my first ultrasound. (:

It's normal. Some docs will see you earlier but most of the time they wait. Sounds like you're doing fine! And congrats! I had no symptoms either so that's not a bad sign. And I had my first appointment at 11wks. It's tough to wait but I'm sure everything will be great!
