I don't want to harm my baby

I had one a few weeks ago. I was in pain so badly I had to go to the doctor they prescribed antibiotics & toldcme to drink lots of water & cranberry juice. While on the antibiotics I was eating yogurt to kind of balance out the bacteria

Next time you feel one coming on, get some cranberry juice and drink it like crazy. I can usually tell when I'm about to get one and I drink a ton of cranberry juice. It goes away before it ever gets painful.

they gave me antibiotics, and I had a weird but horrible infection of some sort afterwards. I never got to ask my doc if I could take d.mannose, as he was on vacation.

see if you can take d.mannose pills or cranberry pills to flush it out. antibiotics kills good bacteria as well and can result in another infection possibly, like a yeast infection is common.

I think your best bet is to just call your doctor and get a prescription because it's unsafe to have an untreated infection of any kind and you don't have any reason to wrry ur dr would nvr give you something that would harm ur baby

Doctors can give u safe antibiotics. I had one at 6wks ,i took what the doctor prescribed me and haven't had one since

I know they say try not to take medicine but taking medicine would be safer for you and the baby . Just go to your doctor they should prescribe you macrobid.  That's safe during pregnancy I'm taking it as well. I have no problems . It's more harmful to have an untreated uti while pregnant than to be taking medicine
