whats the difference between newborn and 0-3 monthes?

This may seem like a stupid question but what is the difference? I'm not sure how big my baby will be (I was told I'm diabetic) and I'm getting another ultrasound when I'm 35 weeks to kinda determine if I will need a c-section so when I buy clothes I have been getting 0-3 months. I'm kinda worried about buying newborn because I'm not sure how big she will be.

I prefer my daughters clothes to be a little loose and not so tight. .. she only had a few newborns, but overall,  she wore 0-3. They were a little big,  but it wasn't a big deal.

I haven't washed anything yet. I was told not to put baby's clothes in the dryer but to let them air dry

He'll grow into the 0-3 months at some point. There's no hurt in buying early. I washed all my 0-3 months and some remained normal size, but some are smaller than my newborn sizes I was given! I washed in cold water and dried on low heat too...

My doctor told me today that since I'm loosing weight and sugars are staying low that she isn't really worried about my baby being to big. But we will see when I'm 35 weeks. But I'm not buying anymore till after my baby shower. But my grandmother brought it up today and I just said get 0-3 monthes. Then I got to thinking what if that is to big lol

Okay because that's what I've been telling people to get. My husband and I don't have enough money to go out and buy all new clothes so I have been buying mostly 0-3 months. I rather them be bigger then to small

My boy weighed 8lb when he was born but was still swimming in the newborn clothes, the sizes come up different from different shops but I agree not to go mad buying loads of things you'll probably never use :P

Before my baby got here I bought all 0-3 months and when he was born they were all gigantic on him I had to run out and get newborn clothes so he had something to wear. He weighed 6lb 11oz

Newborn clothes usually go up to about 8 lbs. My baby was 10 so never really got to wear any of the newborn sized clothes that we had bought our been given. 0-3 is the next size up.

Newborn is usually for a baby weighting about 5-8 pounds. I bought all 0-3 month clothes because everyone says that nebwirn doesn't last long at all and it's a waste of money if your having a child weighing 7+ pounds
