when is it safe

okay i hope to have my son this month even tho im due may 1st.....sense its summer and itll be getting really hot when is it safe to take them swimming and which is better (we go to a lake) but Pool or lake?

I would be So paranoid about The bacteria and stuff That's in lakes to have a small baby in one.  I'm paranoid about a lot though and I Don't ever go in lakes except If Im on a boat So idk. Lolz

Wait until the umbilical cord falls off and then ask doctor. I also agree with pool first

4-6 weeks I would start in pool as babies get cold easily :)
