when should i give up work

im 34 weeks and have high blood pressure. i have to go back to the hospital tomorrow and have a scan and have my blood pressure checked. When should i give up work

well that is a good question for your doctor. always remember depending on the state you live in disability only covers you for a few weeks unless you have another finacial plan. but def ask your doctor when it would be best.

Well thats really up to you and your doctor, but working in high risk obstetrics myself, I'd say that if your BP is chronically elevated you should consider giving it up asap. You need to rest and try to keep that baby in there as long as possible. Your baby is the most important thing right now, everything else will fall into place.

Ask your doctor. It depends on the type of work you do. If its fast paced or stressful then u might consider going off sooner. 37 Weeks is a good time gives you time to prepare but you doctor might recommend sooner if your blood pressure is bad
