If you work somewhere physically stressful then id tell them. I worked at a pet hotel when I first found out and had to do a lot of manual labor lifting heavy dog food bags, cleaning cat litter, dealing with big hyper dogs. They accommodated me and were really nice about it, well my boss was, shift leader was a pric!k lmao but if you can do it without harming yourself then wait
I have been working at my job for 2 years almost and I am the manager I am having trouble on how to tell my boss hes a guy im scared to what his response will b
during your probation period an employer does not need a reason to fire you. nor are they obligated to provide you with a reason. I would wait if I were you.
My best friend was in the same situation and ended up going into preterm labor while on probation period and they just went ahead and gave her maternity leave and gonna continue the rest of her probation period when she returns or gonna hire her on shortly after she returns
I would tell then when your showing
Umm no they can not fire u hun for being pregnant ... its illegal ... they cant n wont discriminate u .. i suggest u let them kno asap.. Wen u are comfortable to do so cus since ur pregnant they cant give u tasks u cant do while ur pregnant cus u dont wana harm ur pregnancy n they need to kno just incase u faint or something happens n ur breaks are very important while pregnant they fix ur schedule to ur needs its obligated in cali ... my momma is a human resource rep so this is as much as i kno from what shes told me
I'd wait! I know girls that have been fired on probationary period while being pregnant. They didn't get fired because they were pregnant, but management found 'other'reasons to fire them and my friend couldn't prove anything because she was on probation. If you choose to tell them before it's over I'd at least wait until you were 12 weeks.
They can't fire you or not hire you on cuz your pregnant. That's illegal. Just tell them cuz if you wait they'll prolly get pissed
