when will I get my first ULTRASOUND!!

I am currently 4 weeks and have my first appointment April 17th, which I will be 7 weeks +4 days. I was wondering if they do the first ultrasound at your first appointment???

I got my first at 8 weeks and heard the heartbeat it was beautiful! I wasn't supposed to get another till 20w but my doctor is fabulous and said she does it at every appointment just to check up on things!

I got a vaginal u/s at 9 weeks +6 to confirm how far along I am and due date

I got told not untill 11w thats when i go back ... You dont get the ultrasound until then ... They do the briefing at 8w then the actual ultrasound at 11-12w

I had bleeding and had an over the belly ultrasound at 6 weeks. I was super thin at the time, they said if I was bigger that they would have had to do a vaginal one. Depends on your size and the office. They usually do a dating ultrasound early because the early ones are the most accurate :)

I got mine done at 7 weeks, but I had a normal u/s done, not a vaginal one.

I got mine at 7 weeks 1 day to confirm and date the pregnancy :)

It doesn't have to be a vaginal ultrasound. ....
Every Dr is different.  
I had my first appointment at 7 weeks and I received an abdominal ultrasound.

You can ask them to do one anyway! They will be happy to do it your baby will more likely look more like a tadpole though! I was so anxious when I found out I got my first ultrasound at 5 weeks :)

Ohh ok, well I think I conceived on feb. 22 or 23 and yeah I did a little research and found out if they did it was going to be a vaginal u/s. I just hope I get to see my growing bby!! (:

I thought I was 6-7 weeks pregnant and they did an u/s. Turned out I was actually 8+4. So I think they probably will. Are you aware it'll be a vaginal u/s if they do?

I was told they usually do them at 8wks but by you being close to that when you go they may go ahead and give you one then if not then for sure at your next appointment good luck:)
