whooping cough jag

Just wondering what's everyone opinion on the whooping cough jag as I'm due to get one in four weeks time.

I got mine a few weeks ago. They said the baby should get a lil if it thro u so I thought might as well get it.

So I am a fence rider when it comes to vaccines. I refused the flu shot because I NEVER had one and NEVER had the flu. I almost declined the whooping cough, but did some research and asked a few questions on here and then decided to get it. I am also still looking into ALL of the vaccines that children get today, and can't say that Im for all of them. But the Tdap ( tetanus, diphtheria and pertussis )  vaccine I went ahead and got. I wouldn't want my son to get so sick so early on in life.

Ya Im going to get the tdap and my childs pediatrician's said to get the whopping cough one I mean they give it to u at the hospital the mother and the daddy but ya vaccines kinda sketchy bc u dont know if u could get like a mututated flu shot or something idk...

How do u catch the whopping cough anyways

I was told adults carry the pertussis which is or forms whooping cough in children. Its more severe and deadly in children under one year old. I'm not 100% sure so don't quote me on that.
