I felt fine after it, bean
My brother had whooping cough when he was just a few months old and was hospitalized for quite a while. I can understand both sides, but there's always a chance that an infant, or anyone for that matter can get whooping cough. Once a person gets whooping cough, it cause your airways to swell making it harder to breathe, but since babies have such small airways anyways it is extremely fatal. My little brother was lucky he didn't die. It's just one of those things I think about when I go out in public, because you really don't know who is sick with it and if you're going to be bringing your child around people or in public, it's always a good idea to think ahead. It's better to be safe than sorry I always say. I would just feel so guilty if I chose not to receive the vaccine and my baby ended up sick. My mom still regrets her decision on not receiving the vaccine... But then again, we're only here to give input and our personal stories and advice but the choice is ultimately only yours, so do what you think is best for you and your child (: goodluck
I never felt ill after getting it. You are going to find that about 50% of people feel very strongly about it positively and 50% feel strongly negatively. Do whatever YOU feel is right.
Read that a lot of people have been feeling quite ill off this...anybody else experienced anything?
Thank you everyone :) booked in for hour and half to have it....don't want a poorly baby....I had a few family members saying it wasn't safe and should I really be having it
I just had mine yesterday at 31+1
Poisons to boost immunity.... Some people...
I've had it and I had no problems, I would say its safer if you do get it
No worries I'd also be getting a flu shot if I was you too. I'd rather be jabbed with as much stuff as I can to boost my baby's immune system then risk a very sick baby. Your baby will still need the whooping cough shot but won't get it till I think it's the 6 month Mark
Okay thank you, I'll go get it done then just didn't want any other risks
It's best to get it just for the anti bodies it will make and be in your baby. If you don't get it then tell anyone or everyone who is going to be around your baby to get their booster shot done . Whooping cough can be deadly to an infant
