My water gushed when I was pregnant with my first but I never smelt it because it was everywhere lol and with my second my water broke when I was pushing (I had a water birth) so I couldn't really smell it. But I have been told it has kind of a sweet smell to it.

I do but its that the doctor's seem so unconcerned that it keeps scaring the people around me cause they had mistaken my water breaking for discharge so theyve already messed up once. But what did it smell like when your water broke?

Yes your fine just say no if they say they can break your water. It sounds like you don't have much support on your body going into labor naturally.

You dont have to be induced if you don't want to. And they don't "have to break your water at 5cm" my water broke when I was pushing. If you are at 5cm already your body is doing what it is supposed to do. Don't rush it.

They are suppose to keep you after 4cm. And if your water doesn't break and you're at 5cm they usually have to break it. If I was u id go to a diff hospital. Cause you're technically in labor after 3cm.

That's normal hun. Some waters brake before dilation. Everyone is different. The doctors had to break mine because labour was going to slow

Huh? If your already 5cm dilated then your already in labour there would be no need to induce you
