Bleeding vs spotting 11w2d

i am a little over 11 weeks and just started bleeding today. I wouldn't say it's heavy but I don't think it's spotting... They said bed rest is best?? I've had a miscarriage before and it started with a day of bleeding then intense painful cramping and a lot of blood. I didn't think I could do anything to prevent it... So I'm just sitting here expecting a miscarriage..I don't have much optimism with my past experience but if bed rest is supposed to help,  how much?? I'm a college student so no classes??? I have my first doctor appointment Friday and don't want to go if they're just gonna end up telling me I miscarried again. Not a fun process.

I went in last night to emergency room with cramping and spotting. It was severe!! I had multiple miscarriages and was so upset. But come to find out I have a subchronic bleed. Its where the placenta is pulling away from uterus. When they gave me a ultrasound they found baby was so healthy bouncing around andThey said working was fine but no heavy lifting and sex. They said You may be experiencing a miscarriage but you may find out you have something else going on. I wish u the best of luck!

@firsttimesinglemommy So my appointment is Friday... If I don't go through the same amount of intense cramping and bleeding like I did last time, I should still go? I am glad to hear that your pregnancy is going well :) how much were you bleeding?

Nothing will help. If you miscarry that means something was wrong with the formation of the child and your body detects the defect and rejects the fetus. I'm in the same situation but I went to the hospital right away my cervix is closed and I have a good chance of having a healthy pregnancy. I have faith me and my baby will be fine. I suggest you do the same the mind is a powerful thing if you say something will happen you can trick you body into it happening. Best of luck
