So I heard it's okay to drink one glass of wine everynight while pregnant. Is this true?

I asked my midwife today. I told her I believe I wouldn't give my 5 year old a glass of wine why would I let my fetus. And she said that a lot of older doctors will say its okay but over time they've learned that you never know a safe amount. One glass can cause harm and some women can drink your whole pregnancy and nothing bad will happen. But why risk it over a glass of wine or 1 drink that's just silly

Red wine is said to help induce labor

Also keep in mind it is still alc so if you wouldnt give it to your newborn baby in a bottle everynight then you wouldnt want to be giving it to them while they are growing and developing

Deff not everynight.. more like once or twice in your entire pregnancy ask your Dr if your unsure

Um why would you need to drink a glass of wine every night while pregnant.
