I've been smoking all through my pregnancy n I wish I could quit! I went from a pack a day though to about 7a day. It's so hard. Try but don't stress Ithink that's worse for u and the baby in my oopinion.

Quitting cold turker early is not bad at all especially being that you haven't smoked that much. I was like you when I found out...I was only smoking a few a day. I finally just quit around 5 weeks then I bought another pack which I shouldn't have but quit around 7 weeks or so. Havent smoked since!!! Just try and quit within the next few weeks and baby so be fine. Good luck :)

Cold turkey is totally okay if you smoke less than a pack a day, but like others said - just ask your doctor to be 100% or call one if you don't have one yet.

Id check with your Dr. to make sure they give you the ok to quit cold turkey. But id say quitting the sooner the better would be best. Id reccomend cutting back until you hear from your Dr.

I quit cold turkey at 5 weeks. Now I'm almost 11 weeks and haven't caved at all and I smoked a half pack a day. Only for a few days after I was wanting one then after about 3 days I had no desire for one. Chewing gum also helped me. Good luck!

I disagree because you don't smoke that many a day you would be fine to quit cold turkey. My niece was going to wean herself off and ended up never quitting and smoking the same amount as she did before she was pregnant.

I think you might need to wean yourself off cigarettes rather than quitting cold turkey.
