working

I am 26 weeks and I really want to work. Do you guys think it would be pointless to try and find a job now?

Im 21 weeks and starting a new job next week at a call center where ill be sitting all day I'm exited... I got it through a temp service my cousin is the director at.. You might try contacting a temp service where you live and see if they can find you something easy where your not on your feet =) and since its a temp service they can't expect you to stay forever =) good luck

Depends on what it is. I had a friend who worked with me at HRBlock and we sat the entire shift until she was due! She got maternity leave. But since your 26 weeks they probably (and I don't wanna discourage you or be mean or anything) hire you. Because they know they'll have a spot to fill in for soon. And you won't get maternity leave because you wont be considered as a "full time" employee. As in having been there a year or more. That's when they give it to you. Or some places might.
