I had an ectopic in 2008 and also lost my right tube.  They should have been monitoring your hcg levels to make sure they had gone down to 0 in the first place to make sure they didn't leave anything behind.  With them staying the same it look more to be left over from your previous ectopic, but time will tell.

It's also advisable NOT to have sex for at least 6 weeks after they surgery.  DH and I did 5 weeks after the surgery and I got scolded by my dr.  You could cause yourself to get an infection or if you are pregnant you aren't completely healed by the time your uterus starts to change again and that can cause a lot of problems!  Try to be careful and give yourself time to heal.

I hope everything works out I'm sorry to hear of your previous ectopic, just wanted to let you know I have been able to get pregnant twice since that ectopic I have a beautiful 2 1/2 year old and am now 27 weeks pregnant.  We got pregnant with our 2 year old 3 months after my ectopic.

I wish i could have one lol. I've had four faint positive results at home and one negative urine test at hospital. I had the same situation with my last ectopic. The dr has told me to go to the early pregnancy unit on monday to try and get my levels checked. But i reckon they'll follow the same procedure, no blood tests till they confirm pregnancy via a urine test.

Oh, they did check the levels...my bad. If the level stayed the same, i very much doubt it's ectopic. Levels would still rise, just slower. So sounds to me like this is hcg knocking about in your system. To be certain, i think you should have your levels checked again to see what they're doing now.

Hi, i've had a previous ectopic too and can understand why you're scared. Thing is with these tests that supposedly say when you conceived is that they can be WAY out. For that reason, i have never used them. There could very well still be hcg in your system causing tests to show positive. What i don't get is why hasn't your dr done blood hcg level checks? Personally, i'd demand them! Going to hospital on monday for mine to be checked.
