7 wks n went for my first appt today dr said I was bleeding a lil n may be at risk for miscarriage...gave me prometrium..has this ever happened to anyone?

I'm 20 weeks and didn't bleed until week 17th. I was diagnosed with low laying placenta that rubs against cervix and   causes the bleeding. I bleed at least  once a week after I move around for a long periods of time. With low placenta doctor said that it's normal but I should try to rest as much as I can to avoid bleeding.

Spotting can happen for many reasons, infections, sex, irritable cervix, etc. Issues that won't necessarily effect the baby. All you can do is have faith and hope that all goes well.. it sounds like you're on the right medicine and you'll be just fine!! :)
