worried..any advice?

so I'm 33 weeks & yesterday at my check up dr said I have a lot of yeast (not an infection, just a lot) & prescribed me 1 dose of 150mg Fluconazole. I just took it & then read on the Internet that its not recommended ): now I'm worried & feel like I should of researched before taking it. but then again if it isn't recommended, why would my dr prescribe it to me? have any of you ladies taken this before while pregnant? did you have any problems?? I'm really worried /:

Yes, It's fine.  It's not recommended before the first trimester and they don't like to give it to you until you're well into your second trimester.  I've taken it too, this yeast thing is crappy.  BUT it does help.  I've been prescribed the same stuff.  Works very well and does not affect the baby. You're 33 weeks so you should be fine.  Don't worry...

I'm not really sure what that medication is but, if its the pill prescribed for yeast infections I had to take out twice when I was pregnant with my first and he is 100% fine. I had horrible yeast infections throughout my pregnancy with him and nothing worked so that  was only a last resort. Plus, I got slightly hateful with the poor Corpsman and basically told him to give it to me or I would cause h pain. Lol
