x-ray exposure, mini c-arm

Not sure if anyone deals with this topic but I thought I'd throw it out there. I am an operating room nurse and we deal with big c-arm and mini c-arm routinely (x-ray). So far I have been fortunate to be kept out of those operating rooms but tomorrow I am scheduled to be in a room with mini c-arm for one case. Of course we have protective x-ray gowns but is that enough for me since I"m still in the beginnings of my first trimester and everything is just starting to form? I hope someone can find me some answers before tomorrow. I didn't have time at work to try and call around to see if anyone knew.  Thanks!

I'd say you should call your OB and ask.  But if it helps, I was worried about x-ray exposure during my first month of pregnancy and I was told that is usually a concern further down the road--effecting the skeleton development.
