Thank you so much ladies! This was extremely helpful! I like the yogurt idea I will definitely try it! You guys were a huge help!
The doctor will prescribe you a pregnancy safe med for it :) you will be ok
I figure call them in the morning cause I can't afford to get anything until Friday any way :/
Also thrush is quite common in pregnacy it lays dormant inside of you and can be caused by the change in hormone levels or in my case when you have finnished a course of antibiotics but all completely natural and treatable with cream but do consult the pharmacy for which one will be safe for you and if it continues then return to your doctor for further treatment
I had one when I soon found out i was pregnant! My midwife said probiotics are safe to take and of course yogurt is always a go to thing. She also told me if if I don't like yogurt I can always just dip a tampon in yogurt and insert it. It doesn't harm the baby at all just try not to keep it in for several hours. Also try using summer eve's body was, ith is the best thing for yeast infections. The body wash keeps your pH levels balanced because that's why you get yeast infections is because of your pH level down there. Hope this helps!!
I think you should check with your doctor to be on the safe side
Okay that's great news! Thank you! :)
I have thrush currently and yes you are able to take the cream over the counter but it is suggest that when applying the cream you use your fingers not the applicator ... also when you go to the pharmacy check with them as to which brand is safe for you
Thank you I hope so too trust me! Lol
Yogurt is supposed to help reduce your risk. Also, look at a health food store for probiotic supplements. They'll help balance your yeast levels. Hopefully it clears up quickly!
Oh my gosh you are so lucky! They suck...I get them a lot and I really don't know why...I clean myself really well...any way I just want to be careful being pregnant.
Def check with your doctor. You shouldn't take anything without consulting them first. Also before you ask, make sure that you check to see if it says anything on the back about "not to take when pregnant or nursing."
I think so? I've never had a yeast infection (knock on wood), but I'm pretty sure the cream is safe. Check with your doc/midwife just in case.
