yeast infection

29 weeks, pretty sure I have a yeast infection. Inside of clit is extremely itchy and discharge looks thicker than usual. How do I take care of this? Can I treat it with regular yeast infection medication or do I need something specific for pregnancy? Are yeast infections common for pregnancy?

I've had a uti before, it's definitely not that. Nothing is painful or worrysome, the discomfort I'm having is strictly in my clit. It doesn't hurt but it's very sensitive and just itchy. I've had a yeast infection before so I figured this had to be one, I just wanted to make sure I could take monistat safely and not have to worry about any side effects or harm to my baby.

Go to your doctor, he told me if I thought I had a yeast infection they to come In they would check to.make sure that's what it is and he would give me the pill that clears it right up and plus everytime I use over the counter meds. For yeast infections I always get Bv. Never fails

Yeast infections are very common in pregnancy so dont worry
and you can treat it yourself
with monistat
but I would go to the doctor just in case its not an yeast infection and its something else, which I do believe is yeast
and no nothing will happen to the baby
unless its UTI.
