yeast infections??

So, I'm in my first trimester and pregnancy is already making me experience the wonderful world of yeast infections. I went to the doctor to make sure it is indeed a yeast infection and it is. He didn't prescribe me anything because he said it's too early and to wait until the second trimester, but I've heard of natural remedies, such as the garlic clove in the vagina that cures yeast infections. Has anyone tried this during pregnancy? Is it safe? The itching and irritation is driving me nuts.

I'm about 7 weeks, and the doctor told me not to try any over the counter medication because it's too early in the pregnancy. I thought of using yogurt but the idea that yogurt has other "good" bacteria worries me,...I'm a little paranoid about it possibly making my situation a little worse, lol.

No I haven't trued that I would think garlic would burn down there you should probably call and ask can you use monistat 7 ... But it depends how far along are you you don't want to try the hone remedies just yet ... Call to make sure so you can cure it...
