I am 35+5 and I took zofran at the beginning of my pregnancy. I have heard awful things about birth defects recently and now I am worried. Are there any mommies out there that have had any positive or negative experiences with zofran?

I took zofran it worked well but I did notice after taking it a little often it would leave me with a horrible headache. I started seeing the commercials about defects and law suits after I gave birth. But my baby is FINE .

I haven't taken it as I did my research about the medication thank god I did there is a small % of woman who have taken it though the pergancy have had there babys come out with heart defect and other health problems there is a law suits happing right now against the company doctor don't know every think about every medication they prescribe that's why they say talk to pharmacy about it and the health risks of taking it

I've taken 2-3 tablets of Zofran everyday since week 5, now 21 weeks along and my baby girl is PERFECT :) nothing abnormal, nothing out of the ordinary, just perfect.

Doc also do make mistakes keep in mind they are being told it is okay to give pregnant woman that medication but now from research its causing birth defects! Just keep in mind doc do make mistakes....i mean think about it doc used to think it was ok to smoke and drink when you were pregnant....but i think birth defects only happen if you take in daily through the whole prregnancy

I am 35 weeks and 3 days. Here's my question, why in the h e l l would the doctor give you something that causes birth defects? They wouldn't, and if something was wrong they'd see it on the ultrasound. So honestly, I wouldn't worry about it.
