zofran?

How many of you are taking this? I just read that it causes birth defects. They say it's been happening for years but they aren't warning anyone. Plz belatedly to those of you Who are taking it

I took it twice when i had the stomach flu and it helped me immensely but the dr told me if I'm concerned about birth defects even though he said its fine, that i should take it only if i really need it like its the only way i can eat

They can't actually prove it was specifically the zofran that caused the birth defects. I'm taking it in my pregnancy now the doctor wouldn't give us things to harm our babies

My cousin took it and her daughter was born with cleft lip , where i live they dont even prescribe it anymore

It happened years ago, the FDA has recalled it and fixed. I was worried too because they gave it to me. It's like any other medication, don't live off it. Take it once in a while when needed and you and baby should be fine!!

Zofran causes birth defects, there are adds that state if you have a baby with birth defects and have been taking Zofran you're entitled to compensation, be very careful when taking this. I know people who took it and stopped and have healthy pregnancy but everyone isn't that lucky

zofran was a life saver for me I went from 150 to 123 in no time from all the vomiting i couldn't even drink water I was miserable..

I took it til I was  4 months delivered a healthy baby girl on April 22 she is the best!!!i

Idk it's not worth the risk to me. I saw it and I know alot of ppl use it so I just figured I'd let ppl know

I took it throughout my first pregnancy because I was sick from week 4 all the way to week 42. Without it me and baby probably would have died. My baby was horn perfectly healthy. I have also taken it on and off with this pregnancy because I was sick from week 5 to week 20 and then again from week 32 to now (39 weeks).

I took it for 7 days and I stop because I got scared but I had to take it again because my nausea get worst... My niece took zofran and my friend also their babies are healthy.

My friend took it with her pregnancies and delivered healthy babies,but i know there are massive lawsuits against zofran. I would say consult with your Dr and approach with caution.
