Any suggestions of good undergarments to wear for post prostrate surgery for incontinence for a 54 year old active man that is comfortable but effective.

Hi,
There are no restrictions. You can use any comfortable underwear.

Men who have a laparoscopic procedure (I’m not sure if this applies to open procedures) are advised to place a small pad (similar to what women use for menses I presume) due to some urine leak expected for the first few months. A pad may be easier to place in briefs than boxers.
