Hi,
Hope your pain has settled down.
Bruising you have mentioned may be a small collection of hematoma.
You require to be examined clinically. Hence have a review with your urologist.

Hi,
Inrathecal analgesia will help in the pain management post radical prostatectomy.
Tramadol is the drug of choice in combating pain in the post operative period.
Normally it takes 6-8 weeks for complete relief after protatectomy.
Take anti-ulcer drugs like Tablet.Ranitidine 150 mg before food, if you plan to take a painkiller ,take it after that,it will avert gastritis which is most often experienced by taking an OTC painkiller.
Goodluck.
