History:
Chronic knee pain and swelling.
FINDINGS:
The ACL is intact.
The PCL is intact.
The LCL is intact.
The MCL is intact.
The quadriceps and patellar tendons are grossly intact.
There is borderline minimal patella alta.
The lateral meniscus is intact.
The lateral femoral condyle cartilage is unremarkable.
The lateral tibial plateau cartilage is unremarkable.
There is no lateral compartment osteophytosis.
The medial meniscus is intact.
- there is linear intrasubstance signal (grade 2) without a discrete tear.
The medial femoral condyle cartilage is unremarkable.
The medial tibial plateau cartilage is unremarkable.
There is no medial compartment osteophytosis.
The patellar cartilage is slightly thinned and irregular along the central lateral facet.
The trochlear notch cartilage is slightly irregular along the inferior medial facet.
There is no patellofemoral osteophytosis.
There is no joint effusion.
There is no Baker's cyst.
IMPRESSIONS:
1. Mild patellofemoral chondromalacia.
2. Minimal patella alta.
