Worried To DEATH
Hi. you may have read my story alreayd in the doctor to patient section, but i had to post it here to, just to see if i could get some info. last weekend me boyfriend and i were messing around, and i was jacking him off..i had semen on my hand, and he placed his hand on top of mine. I'm not actually sure if any got on his hand, but I'm guessing that some did. He wasn't like..doing it himself though. Then, he wanted to finger me. I made him get up and wash his hands first, and then probably 10 minutes after his hand was on top of mine while i had his semen on it, he fingered me. He didn't actually go "up inside" of me, but he was messing around "down there." I'm so scared that I may be preganant. All i have done is cried since this happened, and I just canot deal with it anymore! I know that most people have unprotected sex and STILL don't get pregenant, but I've never had sex before, or been in this kind of situation, so I don't exactly know what to do, I just need advice A.S.A.P. I'm also on seasonal birth control (the kind that you don't have your period for 3 months) and I have two weeks left before I get my period. Am I pregenant?
Actually, yeah we had sex ed a few years ago, but the lady that came down im guessing was from a christian center and told us that condoms didnt prevent pregenancy at all, so we avent had it since. My boyfriends mom is a travelnurse and she told him there was nothing to be worried about and that there was no possible way of this happening because even if he didnt wash his hands, sperm had to be put in so far for you to have a possibility of being pregenant, but someone had posted on another site that if it was anywhere near the vaginal opening that u could become preganent, but thanks everyone.
Wow, sounds like you're too young to be having any kind of sexual contact because you don't even know how someone gets pregnant or how birth control works. Sorry to be harsh, but it's the truth.
just wondering if they teach sex education anymore, because in Grade 8 i am sure i knew that this couldnt get me pregnant
gotta agree...this just doesn't seem possible for someone to think that pregnancy could happen and really, if you aren't ready to deal with the possible risks of getting pregnant, then perhaps you shouldn't be putting yourself into situations like this in the future....wait until you are ready to handle it
There is no way your are pregnant, zero. In order for you to get pregnant that way, he would have had to have a fist full of sperm and shoved it up there while you were ovulating. Graphic, probably. Have you ever spoken to someone about how reproduction works? I'm not trying to be condescending either. If you are too shy to speak with your dr., try a planned parenthood. Searching the web is clearly not going to alleviate your fears. Good luck to you.

If you're telling this right, and you've been on Seasonale for 2 years, and you did with him what you say you did, you're not pregnant. You're not. I don't know what else is going on in your life that makes you latch on to this completely unfounded fear, but maybe if you tried to figure that out instead of keep wondering if you're pregnant, you might get some relief.
Have you ever read the HIV forum on this website? It's amazing, how totally stressed out some people get and convinced they have HIV even though they've tested negative many times and had a non risky encounter. They sound just like you - completely stressed out, and reading their posts is amazing.
I wish you well. Somehow, get past this fear that you are pregnant and get on with trying to work through your anxieties.

Blondie, even if you had actual sex, and he ejaculated inside you, you still shouldn't get pregnant while you're on Seasonale. Even if you did that several times a day, every day, you STILL shouldn't get pregnant on birth control pills.

oh you don't understand! i'm scared to death. i can't concentrate in school, i can't sleep, i'm so stressed i'm pigging out, i have SO much on my plate right now, and then THIS! blondie had your boyfriend ejaculated or was is pre? if pre i doubt there were any sperm in that material. if he did finish then your answer (from what i googled for you) it can live in a warm environment outside the body for at least an hour. different sites had different times. if he had it on his finger and touched your clitoris than id say you have no chances even if you werent on the pill. if he put his finger near your vaginal opening and you werent on the pill id say you probaby still have no worries. having said you are on the pill id say you dont have anything to worry about.

Life lesson number one: do not worry yourself to death until all the facts are on the table. Only about two more weeks and you can take a pregnancy test. It is soooo unlikely that you are.
I have something called PVC i think. It's where I have too much blood flow for my size (i'm a size 2) and i was missing school and i was anemic from my period because it was so heavy. the doctor was afraid I wouldn't have any luck with it, so he just wanted to get rid of it the best way he knew how, which was seasonal, b/c it permits me to go period free for three months, and then have a one week period, but much lighter. Do you think that I could be pregenant from this? I mean, my boyfriend washed his hands with soap, thoroughly, and people have protected sex and never get pregenant! I just don't understand how something like this could make me pregenant. I'm curious why you're on birth control for so long if you're still a virgin, and so young. Is it to regulate your periods, or is there some other benefit besides birth control?

I'm just really scared about it. I've bene on this birth control for probably two years now, and I've never had sex before, and I read somewhere that it could be possible, but I thought that sperm died when it hit the air, and I'm not completely sure that it even got on his hand, but I do know that he washed them with soap before fingering me, and he didn't actually go "inside me." Blondie - I'm not sure I understand your situation. You've been on Seasonale birth control pill for like, 3 months now, you've never had sex before and now you think that fingering with a tiny bit of sperm might get your pregnant?
That's what birth control pills are for - except in very rare cases, they don't fail.
Did you talk to your doc about the fact that you can have sex while you're on that pill and not expect to get pregnant?
