partner of an OCD sufferer

My partner has the Obsessive Compulssive dissorder, and I'd loke to know whether people with this problem use to be more agressive and violent. He gets angry with facility and when it happens he insults me and treats me bad. He cannot stand not to be perfect, to recive a critic or a suggestion. And most of the times he is unfair, but I don't know whether it has be treated as an OCD problem or if it's a different problem.

Is he on medication? I have OCD (not severe  but severe enough). It is an anxiety disorder so I have finally went on anti anxiety medication. Yes, anger is one of the effects of OCD. I did not deal with it for years ( anger) I had learned to control it but then I had some major stress in my life and I found myself blowing up at everything and everyone. I recommend medication and counseling ( counseling for both of you). There are also support groups out there that you may want to check into.

Its funny you ask me this cause I lived with someone that had bad OCD and they where very violent. OCD is an anxiety dissorder so either way they arnt in a good state of mind so just be careful and try to get them some help but if you cant then dont try to fix them yourself cause you can not, and my partner stabbed me and that wasnt even the half of it so I would definately get away while you can if they are abusive and dont waste another day. Try to help them but dont live with them or be alone with them. I dontknow if its related, but it seems so. I know exactly what your going through and if you need to hollar back, please do, but just send me a msg directly ok. You never know when something bad will happen, but it will, believe me, it will.
