So I work midnighs and later this after noon my boyfriend woke me up like normal and and told me the time and said im going to a friends tonight and the first thing i said to him was cant you spend anytime with me then i started crying now i am with him every day all the time we live together and have the best relationship we have been together for 2 yrs and we never fight maybe 10 times in those 2 years and i have no trust issues or nothing like that or had no problem with him going but as soon as he left i started balling my eyes out and have no idea why and then after like 45 mins of crying again i was fine why do you think his is any ideas ???

Hi.  Well, I think sometimes we have a certain reaction that seems out of place because something else is bothering us and a particular even just sparks the emotion.  Has anything been on your mind lately?  Do you feel a little underappreciated by your boyfriend?  Are you missing some "intimacy" moments---------- ?  I know you live together and are together often but sometimes you can still lack those feelings of connectedness that we need to feel secure in the relationship.  You are working nights which I think is a really hard schedule when our partner is not on the same one.  That means you are tired when he is waking up and vice versa.  I had the opposite in which my boyfriend (years ago, I'm an old married lady now) who worked nights and I worked days.  We were together but our energy levels were different.  Do you think this could be bothering you?  And sometimes we can just need a little extra TLC from our partner. Perhaps this was one of those times for you.  Last . . .  hormones.  I will tell ya, there are times my hormones make my life difficult.  I cry at things that don't make sense and little things bug me that wouldn't ordinarily.  Does any of this seem like it could be playing a role?
