I don't think it's her opinions that anyone is offended by (I mean who cares anyway????) but it's the way she was so rude to everyone and the way she put people down for their opinions.   It was weird because she asked people to explain and they did, then she was rude and obnoxious.  (I thought she was funny to be honest with you.)  The thing is, if you're like that (obnoxious), you got to expect it back.  Sorry, that's just life.  Hey, I've gotten some rude comments to my rude comments.  You got to take it like a woman/man and move on.  Speaking of that, can't we move on from this subject?  I'm bored.

Barn Babe is alive and well!! Much to your dismay Jam! You cannot handle an opinionated person that can debate any subject? Yes, she can be harsh! I have had many converstaions (arguments) with her on several issues and forums. Her views are definitely different than mine on MANY subjects, but isn't that OK? I do not post on here for everyone to agree with me, do you? I myself appreciate her opinion and views, and I also appreciate her ability to mean what she says and say what she means. Yes, she is blunt, why beat around the bush?  We may not agree alot, but I do respect her opinions. Free speach is one of our rights, is it not? Just because some of you don't like what she says, doesn't mean that she doesn't have the right to say it. I am not here to slam or defend any one of you, just trying to put it all into perspective !!

koukla, I actually agree with everything you said.  I would never, ever, instigate an attack on anyone.  My calling her "whacked" was a minor reaction in comparison to the abuse she's dished out endlessly on this forum, often as the instigator herself.  I am a strong believer that everyone deserves respect up front...but at the same time I truly believe that respect CAN BE lost, which is something that happened in my opinion of her "online persona."

Just so you'll know, I wasn't 100% sure you were talking about her...it seemed like it but I didn't clarify that uncertainty, and for that I apologize.  I wish this board had an edit feature!

Wow!  I was NOT defending BB.  I was asking a question to everyone.  It IS interesting, isn't it?  I find it extremely interesting that lively debate can to resort to being nasty to others.  I wasn't defending BB, that was asking everyone who feels a need to act that way, to take it down a notch.  What is the point of tearing people and making them afraid to speak out?  No matter what someone's opinion - even if it is extremely different from my own, as long as we can treat each other with respect, I can aknowledge a different perception and solution ro the same problem.  This is what I am saying.

I don't think BB is a whack job.  I personally don't know the woman, do you?  That is what I am talking about - calling people names and attacking the person whom you do not know.  It doesn't make anything better.  I think she and some others need to keep it from getting personal, hurtful, and stop the name calling.  There is no reason why we can't have adult conversations that respect a variety of opinions.

That's an interesting comment, koukla, but I have to ask are you speaking for barnbabe or the victims of HER hatred and abuse?  Because quite frankly, it has seemed to me in many weeks of reading this board that pretty much everyone is respectful of opposing opinions and debates them WITHOUT resorting to the name calling, insults and attacks that seemed to pretty much only come from barn babe.  In fact, it was apparent that most of the time, SHE was the first to respond with anger and negativity at anything SHE didn't agree with, on a personal level rather than a respectful debate.  She even insulted someone who was actually ON HER SIDE.  She was out of control  She's a whack job.

Again, a very interesting comment, and one that was often asked, word for words almost, of BARN BABE HERSELF.

No one hates her opinion, but I for one hate her behavior.  It is sickengly disrespectful and rude.  And she has no one to blame but herself.
