How worried should I be after my child was exposed to asbestos dust

In 2011 I removed what I thought to be Gyprock aka Drywall from my bathroom. Only last week it has been brought to my attention that it more than likely have been Asbestos sheeting of some sort.  Before now I had never knew of asbestos being used in such a way other than fencing and roofs. In total it was about (6) 2.4m x 1.2m sheets. Many snapped off and there was an amount of dust. Doing it myself, taking down and removal, took me about two weeks on and off. There were a few days when my then 9 year old, now 14, child was at home during the long hours it took me but most days at school. Never did we sleep there Never was he in the room but the dust did escape and I remember having to clean it up off of surfaces and the floor. Im so upset and worried that I have unwittingly exposed him to such a horrible and potentially deadly heath issue. What has scared me stupid is that he has not long been complaining of chest pain that he best described as a pain in his "lung".
