Minimal Fibrosis At Right Apical Lung - Second Opinion

Hello, I went for a full body check up in October last year and this was stated on the report. I didn't ask further questions at the time as the doctor didn't elaborate. It was only when I looked into it further online it sounded terminal. I am seeking some further clarification on what it actually means.

- No active pulmonary infiltration or mass. Minimal Fibrosis At Right Apical Lung.
- No pleural effusion or pneumothorax.

I have emailed for further clarification and this was stated: Fibrosis is a lung condition that occurs when lung tissue becomes damaged and scarred. It can be caused by many factors such as past infection, inflammation or other causes. For your result, the radiologist specialist reported minimal degree of fibrosis and no active disease.

Does that mean in the future it could become active? Or is it just a bit of scarring, end of?

This is why we shouldn't try to interpret our own results. Both of those things listed mean no issues.
