Severe upper middle back pain
Hey, I'm only 20 years old and I am in so much pain...and no matter what nothing will make it stop.
My upper middle back mainly where my ribs and lungs are and right underneath have stabbing pains..but I feel like it's not my bones and I'm not sure if it's my muscles I feel like it's my lungs. I have been a heavy smoker for 3 years also..it's killing me. Even when I lay or get in a comfortable position stabbing pains shoot through my body and even on the front as well...mainly taking deep breaths hurts..what could this be? I think I had bronchitis and left it untreated and it turned into something worse...pneumonia? ...upper respitory? My diaphragm? My actually lungs swelling? Please help. I also have anxiety so it makes it worse....

Yeah it's probably my lungs I think... not hard to breathe just when I do its hurts in my lungs.

The symptoms of pain when breathing may be pleurisy. As you have been a heavy smoker, you need your lungs checked out to rule out other lung abnormalities.
The stabbing pains may be from your lungs, or may be from trapped nerves in your spine.
