My 3 year old has had respiratory problems since she was born. When she was 10 days old, she was admitted into the hospital and put on an IV for a virus that was unknown. Since then, she has developed Bronchitis about 7 or 8 times. And she is now on her 2nd bout of Pneumonia within the last year. It seems like any little germ that touches her lungs just develops so fast that we can't get a grip on it. She will cough a few times one day and be on breathing treatments the next. I have 3 kids, and for her to keep getting these constant infections in her lungs seems to me like she's got something wrong. I definitely don't want that to be the case, but is there any advice for me as to why she might get so sick all the time? She's so young, it breaks my heart that she can't go more than a couple of months without getting really really sick.
