Hi there,

I have very similar symptoms as you do. I also did the x-ray before the TB test and saw nodules and streaks coming from it (for your information I have asthma as well). Then a CT scan was done and more nodules appeared, which were several surrounding a large one of size 2-3.5 cm approximately (which of course worried the day lights out of me and very alarming). A skin test was done and it was very positive (20 mm +), however I do not sweat or show other symptoms beside a chronic cough and shortness of breath (so they don’t think its active TB….active TB would show those symptoms with weight loss etc etc). Due to my age (26), non-smoker and pretty healthy, they are thinking latent TB for the time being, but more tests will need to get done. I am also very nervous. Hope its latent TB and not lung cancer. (its definitely been keeping me up)

Think positive, and keep me posted on your prognosis.
