Weight Lost, SOB, Little to No Clear Sputum

Hi,

I have SOB problem for almost 4 months now, started in February. Since then i had lost 7kg, from 70kg to 63kg. I have seen 6 doctors [5 GP and 1 Lung Specialist].

Tests i have done, PFT [normal], chest X-ray [normal], 1st blood test [high cholestrol 5.9], 2nd thyroid blood test [normal], 3rd blood test [cholestrol lower than 3.5], blood pressure 100/60.

I quit smoking in February after a sudden attack of SOB lasting for 48 hours, i was rejected by ER because oxy level is 98, i could not lie down, i must sit up straight to gasp for air, could not sleep for 48hours.

I have mouthful of blood in mouth every morning, i also spit pink mucus [not sure where it's coming from] throughout the day, i sometime taste blood in my mouth by just sitting in front of the computer. This started 1.5 month ago.

First 4 GP diagnosed me with anxiety and send me home with nothing, 5th GP treated me with inhaler and nexum without any improvement, lung specialist listen to my lung and send me home saying i am fine.

I feel there is something in my airway, lung congestion seems to change side from time to time, i cannot cough anything out. Occasional wheezing when inhale, exhale has no problem. Whenever i wheeze at inhale i feel something "crawling" along my airways that's blocking the airflow, the stronger i inhale, the "crawling" feeling move downward to deeper lung, then it feel congested.

Please help as i am out of solution and oxygen.

The GP say it might be dripping down from my sinus, and he is not too concerned.

The lung specialist say it might come from airways as it get a bit irritated, it is normal.

I really don't think a mouthful of dark red blood every morning is normal.

Sorry to hear your suffering.  I would, if I were you try another lung
specialist and keep a journal of symptoms to bring him.  Did your
previous doctor mention where the blood might be coming from?
Hope you are better really soon.  My story is posted -  Also sick
with respiratory something since February and totally fed up.
