bloody sputum

hi
i usually wake up in the morning withe yellow greenish sputum. but onetime i woke up with bright red sputum. and about 4 or 5 days ago i had some sneeze "about 4 sneezes aday" without runny nose and i have a history of GER..
last night i ate alot
and i don't have breathing problem

Hi, I don't think it is normal to wake up every morning with coloured sputum. That is usually a sign of chest infection. To clarify, is this mucous coming from your chest or your sinuses/throat area? And blood in sputum coming from the lungs is definately not normal either. Probably related to an infection. If it is coming from your sinuses, it could me they need treatment. Do you have any post nasal drip or throat clearing? These are signs that the mucous originates from your upper respiratory system.  You really should check it out with your doctor, to determine what is going on.

i want to add that i am not smoker..and i didn't have any esophegeal refluxes in the last night
