ringing in ears

For years have had ringining in ears off and on but the last couple months it has been chronic.
Along with that experience very cold hands and chills.  Sometimes my face is very red and hot.  No fever as yet.  Trouble sleeping.
Doctor seems puzzled over these symptoms.

I have had several thyroid tests and they were non-conclusive.  Of course that is the perameter of normal.  Tomorrow will see the nurse practioner and again give her my symptoms.  Last night was very hyper, over eating etc.

hi there, i just read ur symptoms and as far as i know and have read, cold chills, and ringing in ears (which is also called tinnitus) are one of very few symptoms of hyperthyroid. Having said that, tinnitus is also a symptom of high blood pressure.
