Can you spread chlamydia by grinding on each other while naked?

So about a week ago my bf was positive for chlamydia then that night when he got the call he had me testes. I was positive as well. We haven't had intercourse since we have been treated, but we have been intimate together. (Hed finger me, id massage his balls. Sometimes hed grind on me without protection. Almost penetrating but hasn't.) So could we have spread the chlamydia once again even after taking the treatments?

Chlamydia is an std that is spread through fluids and not skin to skin contact.  But, theoretically, if they have fluid on their hands or penis . . . it's there.  Lower risk though. However, chlamydia can be hard to get rid of.  You need a couple of negative tests (three is best) to be sure it is gone.  And I guess I'd be asking how he got it to give it to you . . .   if he's your boyfriend, did he cheat?  I'm glad he told you because untreated chlamydia in women is dangerous to your reproductive future.  But I'd be curious how he got it!
