Chronic Testicle Pain

Received unprotected oral sex from high risk partner, had burning sensation in tip of penis. All test came back negative and I had no discharge.  Eventually progressed to epididymitis and I was diagnosed with NGU. Treated with Doxy (no relief) and finally 30 days of levaquin which seemed to take care of the main pain but still had a little bit. Received unprotected oral sex again and same problems started all over again. Given azithro, cipro, and levaquin again and nothing cleared symptoms up. I tested twice for HIV at 8 months (oral test) and a year (blood test) and both were neg. Went to urologist and he said I had scared tissue that he removed and also performed varricocelle surgery. I have the same tenderness in my right testicle which I notice increases as I sit for long periods. Recently I have had my armpit lymph nodes become tender off and on which only last for about two or three days then subside. I do not have any discharge just pain in my testicles. All of this has been ocuring for about a year now. My doctor does not think it is an STD. My question is with those meds can I still have some antibiotic resistant STD. I also took the AZO Uti test and all three test were negative for an UTI. My next option is to get a CAT Scan done but it cost a lot of money. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Could be MRSA or MRSE. Both are types of staph with rough resistance profiles. You need your doc to culture the bug and run a sensitivity analysis. Probably not clamydia though.

Chlamydia can cause very severe pain in the testicle pain and discomfort. I would look into that. Every though with all those anitbiotics it should have knocked that **** out of it.

Can not get medication advice.
Not another STD panel done, but you can ask the Dr specifically to test for other kinds of bacteria.

Should I have another STD panel done and can they test for strep or staph? What type of medications can they administer if it is strep or staph in the genital area?

It could be an infection that is not responding to the medication. But you would have to have a Dr perform more tests to make sure...maybe strep or staph.

I also had the doctor check my prostate and he said it wasn't swollen and my lab test were fine.
