FTA-ABS IGG and IGM is only for infants?

Recently had blood tests for syphilis. Test included

RPR (automated): 0.0 [0.0~0.9 R.U.]
TPLA (Automated version of TPHA): 0.00 [<7.00 T.U.]
FTA-ABS IGG non-reactive; IGM: non-reactive

Isn't the FTA-ABS IGG and IGM only for infants?
Does anyone know about the reliability of the automated RPR and TPLA?
