slightly high titer for HSV2 did you have any blisters? If you do/did the best thing to do is have them swabbed for testing. I think your HSV1 titer is normal or equivocal which done same value twice is likely negative. IGG herpes select tests have a scale usually that indicates right on the test what the values mean. If your tester only gave you the numbers and no explanation go back and ask. Good luck I wish you all the best.
I'd say its still very likely to be a false positive. You can keep testing if you want, but the chances are really good that you don't have hsv2. Many experts, including our own docs here, feel that the cut off for hsv2 should be around 3.0-3.5.
If you haven't had symptoms, I wouldn't even worry about this. I get the feeling though, that you wouldn't be able to just let it go, and that's ok. Instead of doing another IgG, ask your doctor if he can do a biokit or western blot.
