Help me
I gave oral sex to a guy and one week later I had dots under my eye and 3 ulcers on my gum line. I had him tested and he said they tested for everything and was clean. Since then I have had off and on groin, pelvic, and back pain. Sometimes my leg even goes numb. I have been on antivirals for 7 weeks with sores in my mouth constantly. I have been to a dermatologist, 5 doctors, infectious disease doctor and only postitive titer was coxsackie virus. B2 and B6. The sores come and go on a daily basis. They initially were on my gums and never after the initail ones did they ever come back there, they are on my cheeks and my cheeks are so swoollen and hurt. I have had five vag exams and no signs of herpes as far as the doctos say. I had an IGG test done which was positive for herpes 1 negatvie herpes2 at two weeks after we were together. I never had intercourse with him but our lower bodies touched. I don't know what this is. My dermatlogist said apthous stomititis and had 3 mouth cultures that came back negative and 2 vaginal cultures negative but while on antivirals. I have a couple of tiny red dots on my inner thigh. No yeast, no discharge, but my groin hurrts and radiates to my back alot. HIV and syphillis negatvie, do I need to retest something, it's been 8 weeks. could any STD's act this way for this long. I went to ears nose throat and no lesions on throat but throat is raw and hurts alot, neg for strep and mono. On nystatin swish and swallow and antivirrals, Help Even on antivirals does anything last 8 weeks.
What can I do in the meantime to help with the pain. There was one traveling doctor in the er that had initially thought they might be herpes but wasn't sure and never cultured the first ones when that is what should have been done. they were ulcers and then I went to my primary doctor who saw the same thing and she didn't think so and everyone else agreed so I guess I had one yes or maybe. Should I just quit the anitvirals and will these finally just pass it's been 8 weeks and today my inner lips hurt so bad with a gray area on my upper lip?
as we've discussed in the herpes forum, no reason to think std for a cause. no reason for any other testing.
