I got something strange going on after unprtected sex? Please help!

Yes i had unprotected sex about 18 days ago and 2 days later a couple small red spots appeared on the head of my penis and i wasnt feeling good, i went to the doctor right away the next day cause my testicles were red and swollen and they itched really bad and i had pain in my sides and lower back. The doctor said it was nothing and to use cortaid to help the redness and he gave me cipro and another anti-bacterial drug to take, the next day the swelling was gone, but my testicles were still red and itchy and then my anus area started to itch and turned red, that went away the next day, then i got a really bad burning in my throat and felt really weird and tired. But i still itched, well then i got this weird pinkish rash on my leg that appeared in the same spot on each leg but it wasnt wide spread at all, i really got scared, but then a few days later it was gone. So a few days later im thinking everything is going good, well i masturbate and the head of my penis has a rash on it and small little bumps appeared. I went back to the doctor 3 days ago to get checked out, the rash on my legs was gone and so was the rash on the head of my penis, well he gave me an HIV test and syphillis test to ease my mind saying i didnt have anything, well the test came back Negative today for both, but they said i have to come back in in 6 months for another HIV test. Well im going back in a month to get another one to be safe, The rashes on my legs appeared the same day after the doctor cause i was stressing out so bad and got scared, they are no longer visible today after using cortaid.......

So my question is do you think i have HIV or what? Im kind of scared, i feel totally fine after 18 days and all my symptoms occoured 5 days after my encounter, but i still got this funk on my penis alittle bit and on the legs in the same spot. Im thinking i might have mild herpes and i spread it by touching areas of my body when it first started.

Hi there -

Has your doctor done a type specific IgG herpes blood test, or cultured any of this to see if its herpes?

HIV is very unlikely.

You also don't need to wait 6 months to test.  Your test will be accurate at 3 months.
