Should I have been treated for gonorrhea rather than chlamydia?

Not sure if I have chlamydia or gonorrhea. Waiting on lab results and in pain.
7 days ago I had a sexual encounter with a woman who provided oral sex on me without a condom for less than a minute aa condom on me for the finish.  The next day my penis felt drippy and uncomfortable.  I now have severe pain in my testicles and prostate. I am 38.  My understanding is that the risk for either chlamydia or gonorrhea was low but I must have something.  I have to wait a week to find out as I went to the doctor 4 days later. Was given two doses of 500mg azithromycin. But now 7 days later I am in severe pain. What's going on?  Also, penile discharge has been minimal but sometimes it feels like I am discharging.  Should I have been treated for gonorrhea?

Oral sex exposes you to gonorrhea, syphilis and herpes. Most experts agree with the fact that chlamydia is not known to be transmitted through oral sex.

7 days after the exposure they can star showing symptoms, but sometimes, stds don't show any symptom at all. You can test as follows :

-Gonorrhea, 3 weeks after the exposure.
-Syphilis, 6 weeks after the exposure, and if you get it negative, you should test again 3 months after the exposure, as there are people that take longer to show a positive result.
-Herpes, 3 months after the event.

You were given antibiotics as prevention, but it would be interesting to test anyway.

All the best.
