SHOULD I BE WORRIED! I do not want to get my wife sick!

I am a male who had a sexual encounter with another male on friday April 5, 2013. I gave oral to a stranger with a condom on. he did not ejaculate at all, we stopped after 5 minutes. I have been losing sleep worried I could have caught something. I am married so i am concerned. My wife and her parents have recently had a cold (before my incident) so they have scratchy throats and now i have one. I am just worried that I can pass something to her. I had a urine test done, today but now I understand it should have been a throat swab instead. Can you put me at ease and let me know if I am at high risk? Wife wants to have sex but I am scared to now until I know.

Should I schedule a throat swab as well?

Do you know of any clinics in my area (Houston, Texas) who do this at a resonable price, since I already am out 200 for the urine test.

Would it be safe to kiss my wife and have unprotected sex? (She is the only woman I have had unprotected sex with in my life. and vice versa)

colds are very common and are contagious from touching surfaces as well as even just breathing within 3 feet of someone. no reason to think your symptoms are a std!!

Thank you guys for the comments. I guess I'm mainly worried cause of everything i read online which just added to the stress.  My throat has been very scratchy all day and have been feeling like a cold is upon me. I'm just concerned since I read sumptoms include sore throat and fever.  The only thing is my wife and her parents have had colds last week with simil a r symptoms. I am hoping its just coincidence.

WOAH, slow down. You was totally protected. If the condom was healthy (I.E didn't split) Then it doesn't matter weather the guy ejaculated or not, you would have been totally protected. You do not need any more tests, and certainly didn't need one to start with. Your fine. and I wish the best to you and your wife.

you performing protected oral sex is a no risk encounter.

if you performed oral sex, you never needed urine testing for std's either!!

don't confuse your guilt of having another partner mean you had any risk! you did what you were supposed to - protected contact. we recommend that it because it works!
