1500 mg dose of azithromicin for gonorrhea

I've taken 1500 mg of azithromicin (one sitting) for gonorrhea last night around 6pm. How long would it take to clear up the discharge? Because I still have some today and I'm worried it wasn't effective or strong enough.

If thats what the doctor prescribed youll see good results in about 2 days. But remember that your urethra as been injured and even though the germs are dead it will take the better part of a week to feel great as urine contains toxins that will continue to irritate your urethra and cause delay in healing. You should do a follow up test later.

Well as I said, I tried. Brick walls everytime I try.
Took the 1500, and 4 days later, all symptoms stopped. Yeast infections are not yellow. And I've had BV before. Horrible, but tis is not that. This has no smell. (Well, HAD). It's over now

So if it stopped after 4 days, good bet it was Gn?

If your having a thick yellow discharge you could have a yeast infection or BV.  You really need to see a doctor about this.Self medication is not advised.

Thats fine. There is no burning when I urinate. Just a thick yellow discharge all day and night. I've been single a year, had sex with my ex one time in June 2013. (He went from anal to vaginal pretty fast wthout cleaning off also) So I dont know if its just a nasty bacterial or actually an std. I just don't have medical of any kind and where I am, you can't just walk into a free clinic. You have to be referred. So I did as much research as possible and concluded it is Gonorrhea and maybe chlamydia.
I ordered 1500 mg of Azithro and took it last night.

I only did it because after trying 7 different doctors, clinics, er's, this was my best bet. So about 2 days for the discharge to stop? I just wanna know so I know if it worked.
Any feedback is greatly welcome.
