Ghsv1 or oral ?

6 years ago I had a strange rash appear in my genitals and the doctor gave me a eye diagnosis and that’s all no medicine or tests ( I haven’t had nothing weird pop up since then 6 years ago ) I am positive for hsv1 as I got tested as a adult . So where can I assume I have it at ?

Hi,It is better if you had swab. you have hsv1 orally I think ghsv1 is rare to get it.Rash & sore both are different.Hsv related to sore.
Thanks----

Well this is the thing it’s been 6 years and I have not had any lesions or sores .. the reason I say rash is because I’m not sure if my vaginal out breaks were sore’s  ? It was not on the outside for me to see ... he seemed pretty confident , right when I popped my legs open he said herpes and it was done .
I don't believe you have  ghsv1 without any swab ,it can't be diagnosed by visual screening. Also no outbreak since 6 years & have ghsv1 orally , I think you don't have ghsv1.If any sores appears better to swab lession.
Thanka---

One more question we’ll what looks similar to genital cold sores that can be mistaken for it
I haven’t had any visible cold sores on my mouth either & no outbreak in 6 years is that normal for ghsv1 & oral ? Because I’ve been really sick & had major stessors over the past 6 years and nothing
Not normal but this is rare I think.I have no idea what other things look like cold sores.
