no, I properly addressed it to the person I intended the answer to be to.
if you have questions, they need to be in your own post.
Grace, I'm sorry to question your post. Your last post that was directed to Chris1234567 stated that he had not been properly treated for NGU.
I'm questioning whether you in fact meant that post to be directed towards me. I had described that I had been prescribed cipro for a possible bacterial infection (NGU) without anything other than my doctor doing a physical exam and knowing of my negative gono and chlamydia results.
Was this post directed towards me? I have since had a urinalysis (results pending) and a scheduled scrotal ultra sound. Is this the correct treatment, and if not, what is?
actually no you have not been properly treated for ngu.
at this point perhaps seeing a private urologist is in your best interest and go from there. make sure you get your prostate checked too to see if prostatitis is going on.

My doctor prescribed Cipro 500 mg, twice a day, for 7 days. Any idea if this would have been enough to get a possible NGU?
Negative for Gonorrhea and Chlamydia. Currently awaiting the results of a urinalysis (which was done very near the end of the cycle of cipro). Worried that IF I had a NGU the cipro was enough to hide it from the test, but not enough to clear it from my system.
Thanks. Been trying but just don't feel right since the incident. Don't think it's a physiological issue cos it's been months and I'm chilled about it. I stopped worrying after getting all clear from GUM clinic back in Feb. Just irritating and confusing as to what it is and seems a coincidence it started just after this encounter.
Hello
Lets recap: You had an unprotected oral sex encounter/protected vaginal encounter with a female in December 10. This alone is a low risk exposure for most stds. You were diagnosed with an NGU Then you took many antibiotics (in my view excessive amounts) for NGU.
It is unlikely that you got an NGU from this single exposure alone.
To answer you question: are there "any sexually related infections that could have survived?" I would say you pretty much killed all bacterial ones. So know that antibiotics don't treat/cure any viral STDs. If I were in your shoes, I would move on with my life and not think about STDs anymore.
